2023 marks the 12th anniversary of Silk Studio! I am so incredibly grateful for all the ways in which I have been supported on this wonderful wellness journey!
Serving others is an intrinsic part of human experience and an important part of my life. Offering something of ourselves is an affirmation that we are all part of something greater than our individual self. It reinforces the notion that we are connected with more in common than in contrast. It is a process that lasts beyond the duration of service creating a beautiful ripple effect as family, friends, coworkers and even strangers may be positively impacted.
Being a person of service is a wonderful way to stay grounded and gracious. I have been so inspired by and am immensely grateful for my parents, my birth mother, amazing family, friends, clients, students and teachers. Witnessing their individual display of altruism, humility and gratitude has fueled in me a passion to be faith-full, peace-full and thank-full.

People will forget what you said,
People will forget what you did,
But people will never forget
how you made them feel
